Experience

Jamil brings extensive knowledge on trust, investment and fund management. He is experienced in dealing with clients, bankers, lawyers, accountants, fund manager (both local and offshore) to facilitate the establishment of various trusts and maintaining existing relationship.

His work in trust matters include active cross-selling of trust structures with other major financial institutions and banks as well as the provision of in-house training on various trust structures.

In 2009, when working for an independent trust company, Jamil assisted an Indonesian Company in completing a reverse take-over exercise, being one of the most successful transactions in Indonesia. He also carried out major transactions in 2011 with Swiss Pte Bank in Singapore for Indonesian client portfolios.

Career

Jamil commenced his career in 1995 with a well-established Bank Trustee company as a Client Services Executive. He then joined a boutique fund management company as an Associate. In June 2006, he was appointed as a Director of Business Development in a private asset management company.

Prior to joining ZICO Trust, Jamil was with two different independent trust companies in Singapore as the Director, Business Development and Head of Indonesian Market.

• Associate Estate Planning Practitioner (AEPP®)
• Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) with Diploma in International Trust Management from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
• The Foundation Certificate in International Trust Management from Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
